C.O.P.E. Quest 2014 will take place throughout downtown Savannah on Saturday, April 5, 2014. RX and Scaled divisions will complete eight stations across three miles of Savannah. Kid-friendly divisions will complete four stations across 1.5 miles.

Rules
- Teams must be made up of four competitors. Competitors can register as a team, or can register individually and will be randomly assigned a team two weeks before the challenge. Competitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Teams will start at Emmet Park (at the corner of Bay and Price streets Downtown - see main page for map) and must complete activities – which can be anything from workouts to questions about health – at stations throughout Savannah before finishing the race. RX and Scaled divisions will complete eight stations across three miles of Savannah. Kid-friendly divisions will complete four stations across 1.5 miles.
- Teams must successfully complete the activity at one station before moving onto the next station.
- Teams must designate a team captain, who will be in charge of receiving instructions upon arriving to a station and being the voice of the team throughout the competition.
- To ensure safety, teams will be go in heats. Specific heat times will be emailed to each registered team member by March 29th and will also be written in your team registration packet. General heat times are tentatively as follows*: family division from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.; scaled division: from 9-11:30am; RX division: 9:30- 12pm (*please note: times are subject to change based on participant registration. Check your email on March 29th for an official heat time.
- Winners will be selected based on best race time. A team's time will be recorded from the start of a heat until the team crosses the finish line.
- Throughout the race, facts about childhood obesity will be given at random. At the end of the race, a team must correctly answer one question relating to the facts (chosen at random) to complete the race. If a team answers the question incorrectly, a new question will be given (and time will keep running) until the team correctly answers a question. If a team answers the first question correctly, a one minute deduction off the final race time will be given.
- Each team will be given a race packet at the beginning of their heat that will include a map to each station, along with other items that may be used to complete the race. Competitors may not use anything not given in the race packet to complete activities or get to stations in the race. This includes (but is not limited to) smart phones, writing utensils, paper, etc. Using outside tools will result in team elimination. Note: asking for directions from locals (but not volunteers/judges) will be allowed.
- Competitors are expected to treat volunteers and judges with respect throughout the competition. Disrespect to any of the volunteers or judges will result in team elimination.
- Stations will be held at various places around Savannah. Competitors are expected to abide by all city laws while competing, including litter laws and traffic laws - competitors must walk/run/etc. on the sidewalks unless crossing the street and cannot jaywalk.
- Be mindful of people around you not competing in the race and help keep Savannah clean in the process of competing.
- This is a family friendly event so there will be no alcohol allowed during the race itself.
